The history of Lloyd's itself dates back to the 17th century.
The
Lloyd’s Agency System is a worldwide network of over 400 Lloyd’s
Agents situated in most of the main ports and commercial centers, whose
main functions is to provide a range of surveying services to the
maritime market.
Lloyd’s of London have appointed under the powers
conferred by Lloyd’s Act 1871-1982, Samer & Strugar shipping
LTD as Lloyd’s Agent at Bar, on
1st March, 2001, to act in accordance with Lloyd’s instructions and procedures
in conformance with their Lloyd’s Agency Service Agreement.
