Samer & Co.Shipping is member of BIMCO.

The Baltic and International Maritime Council, founded in 1905 in Copenhagen, was the first organization covering international shipping interests.
Since the beginning, BIMCO took action on behalf of its members on matters concerning shipping, racing from excessive regulation to restrictive practices and unfair charges and, at the same time, issued standard charter-parties, bills of lading and other shipping documents which allow both contracting parties to come to friendly agreements.
The present BIMCO's members are shipowners, brokers, agents and P&I Clubs and some associated members like classification societies, port authorities, maritime lawyers, shipyard and maritime organizations in over 110 countries. In addition to the activities described, BIMCO is issuing regular publications, bulletins, newsletters and handbooks, has constant contacts with all main shipping organizations in the world  and organizes  seminars and courses related  to the  maritime field.
Furthermore, BIMCO supplies members with a computerized  round the clock on-line service concerning:

The BIMCO's General Meeting offers opportunities to shipowners, shipbrokers, agents, P&I Clubs and other members to establish business and  to discuss matter s of mutual  interests.
